Phishport Outlook Add-in Support

Use this page for installation notes, supported-client expectations, and first-line troubleshooting for the Outlook add-in.

Supported Client Scope

Outlook on the web and current desktop Outlook clients that expose Mailbox 1.14.
Microsoft 365 work or school accounts.
Outlook.com personal accounts through the interactive Microsoft sign-in fallback path.
No mobile support promise in this release.

What To Check First

Confirm the task pane can load /runtime-config.json without a browser security warning.
Confirm the user can authenticate with Microsoft and that the add-in reaches GET /v1/outlook/me.
Confirm the current message is opened in Message Read mode before scanning.
Confirm the backend returns a structured response rather than a token or quota error.

Installation Route

Public users should install the add-in from Microsoft Marketplace or from Outlook’s in-product add-in catalog after publication. Outlook does not support a standalone installation link for web add-ins.
